Materials for the Industries
That Shape Everyday Products

PolyCompounder supplies polymer compounds and additives for film, packaging, injection molding, extrusion, compounding, coatings and a broad range of industrial polymer applications.

From processing method to end use.

Our materials are selected to address different processing requirements and end-use applications across the plastics and polymer industries.

From flexible polyethylene films to rigid injection-molded products, reinforced polypropylene components and polyethylene wax additives, the PolyCompounder portfolio provides material solutions for both polymer processors and compounders.

Packaging & Flexible Film

Polyethylene remains one of the key materials used throughout the flexible packaging industry. Our PC-LF1, PC-HF1 and PC-LF2 grades are intended for film-related processing, blending and lamination applications.

Typical applications

  • Flexible packaging film
  • Plastic bags
  • Industrial film
  • Lamination film
  • General-purpose polyethylene film
  • Film blending applications

PC-LF1 is an LDPE compound with a density of 0.92 g/cm³ and MFR of 1.7 ± 0.2 g/10 min, while PC-HF1 is a higher-density PE film grade with a density of 0.945 g/cm³.

Injection Molding

For rigid plastic products, material stiffness, processability and dimensional performance are important considerations.

PC-HI1 is a high-density polyethylene grade designed for injection molding and extrusion coating applications. It has a density of 0.952 g/cm³ and an MFR of 18 ± 1 g/10 min.

Typical application areas

  • Plastic containers
  • Household plastic products
  • Industrial molded components
  • Utility products
  • General injection-molded articles
Relevant gradePC-HI1

Extrusion & Technical Components

PC-PG20 is a random copolymer polypropylene compound reinforced with 20% glass fiber.

The reinforcement provides increased modulus and strength, impact resistance and dimensional stability. The supplied TDS identifies automotive, appliance and utility products as application areas and specifies extrusion processing.

Typical application areas

  • Extruded technical components
  • Automotive polymer components
  • Appliance components
  • Utility products
  • Reinforced profiles and parts
Relevant gradePC-PG20

Masterbatch & Compounding

Polyethylene wax is widely used as a processing aid in polymer formulations.

PC-WF and PC-WP provide polyethylene wax in two different physical forms—flake and powder—allowing processors and compounders to select the form best suited to their handling and production system.

Typical applications

  • Masterbatch production
  • Polymer compounding
  • Pigment dispersion
  • Plastic processing
  • Rubber processing
  • Processing and lubrication applications

Both grades are described as high-purity, low-molecular-weight polyethylene waxes with good thermal stability, chemical resistance, lubricity and compatibility with polymers.

Paints, Coatings & Adhesives

Polyethylene waxes can also provide functional benefits outside conventional thermoplastic processing.

The supplied application information for PC-WF and PC-WP includes paint and coating, adhesives and textile applications.

Application areas

  • Industrial coatings
  • Paint formulations
  • Adhesive formulations
  • Surface modification
  • Textile processing
  • Specialty polymer formulations
